Ray Goes to School

Not so long ago, gor gor went to school for the first time. I remember mummy had to stay with him and pacify him for days before he is willing to get changed every morning to go to school.

To make gor gor feel better, mummy let pooh pooh bear accompany him to school. Gor Gor will carry bear bear everyday, everywhere and not let anyone touch it.

Well things get better after a few months. Pooh Pooh bear get to stay home now and gor gor doesn't make a fuss going to school anymore. What more, he has began to feed himself, teach me new songs he learn in school and wear his own clothes.
Beginning this month, it was my turn.....

I saw many little people in my class. It was a scary feeling but luckily mummy was around. Gor or is in the next class. I like the little tables and chairs in my class and can't wait to sit on it the minute I saw it. To begin the day, we had a little bun and milo for breakfast.
After the play and Chinese lesson, it was water parade. I thought daddy say they only have that in the army.
More lesson and teacher Sarah taught us the signs "STOP" and "GO" on the traffic light. I did my first school project with the green and red paint.
Before lunch, there is the music and dance session. I get to join gor gor in this session and it was so much fun. You can see me here dancing and running around with the rest of the little people.
First day of school was not too bad after all and I am looking forward to more now!

A Day at the Bird Park!

Mummy and Daddy brought us to the bird park on Sunday!
It was the first time for me and gor gor and we were so excited !
Gor Gor's friend Kieran came along with his mummy and daddy too!

I was too hungry and needed to replenish my "battery"

In a sea of "head", I managed to catch a glisme of the bird show performance.

Beatiful and coulourful birds were all around the place. These are called flamingo.. and ducks
Daddy rented a wagon for us as we were both tired of walking after sometime. It was so hot..
We had a little fun at the swing, This is gor gor, kieran, kieran mummy and me.
Mummy say she will bring us out again. Maybe the zoo, maybe the beach or a horse ride.. I am so looking forward to it!

Hi! I'm back ...

Hello aunties and uncles, missed me? You must be wondering why the long silence... 'Cos I was sick. For 3 days I had high fever of 39 to 40 degree. Mummy and daddy got worried after 3 days when my fever doesn't seem to subside with medication. I didn't have any cough, no runny nose, no mosquitoe bite and no red spots.Worried, my parents brought me to the hospital were I got poked and screened. And that day was my grandpa's birthday! Mummy say we were going to celebrate with grandpa right after seeing doctor. Thinking it was another viral infection, we were hoping to leave the place in 2 hours. However, the doctor check and check and we waited and waited at the emergency room for the final test... my urine. The result came back and it showed that I had a urinary tract infection. The next thing I knew, I got to stay in the hospital ..
Hospital stay is no fun at all. Beside mummy, daddy, gor gor, por por, grandpa and ah mah who comes to see me everyday, there are also many unfamiliar faces. I don't like them touching me especially have me wrapped up and poke my hand. But mummy say they had to put a needle in my hand in order to give me medications to make me better. Ihad this hard board over my hand and it is stuck to my hand with lots of white tape. It is really inconvenient cos I can't see and move all my fingers and I couldn't pick up my toys. I can't even hold on to the bed when I walk.
My fever went down on the 3rd ay and I could finally go home. All the needle and hard board are removed and I could freely move my fingers again. Going home has never felt so good after the hospital stay. I will never want to come to stay in the hospital ever again...
